Ⅰ. Introduction:

Over 13 years, the PV Module Workshop has established itself as one of the most important specialized forums on PV module technology in Germany. The annual Forum is organized by TÜV Rheinland in cooperation with EnergyAgency. NRW. Building on the experience and great feedback received in previous events, TÜV Rheinland will host the forum in a new format this time around. In order to allow international exhibitors, visitors, experts, specialists, decision makers, and investors to participate in the PV Module Technology & Applications Forum 2018, it will, for the first time, be held in English and German language.

The forum will offer an excellent platform to update, share and discuss recent innovations in module and component technologies, developments in characterization and analytic test methods, reliability, safety and energy storage solutions.

Ⅱ. Why attend:

● It will consider the changes and fast developments in global PV manufacturing and PV markets and point out deciding technological factors and best practice in fault finding which are crucial for global market players involved in the solar sector.

● The highly experienced advisory board has carefully selected the agenda items and could once again win world renowned speakers from research organizations, market leading solar companies and of course from among the TÜV Rheinland own experts. As in previous years, the learning effect for the audience is going to be very valuable. I am sure the forum will support, energize and inspire you in many ways.

● The dedication of the board members, the tireless team of engaged organizers and distinguished speakers have contributed to developing this forum to be an important meeting platform for experts and decision makers in the PV industry, developers, installers and investors of PV systems. The 14th PV Module Technology & Applications Forum is organized under the theme ‘All Quality Matters’ at the headquarters of TÜV Rheinland in Cologne, Germany, from 29-30 January 2018. You can avail of the great learning opportunities it offers, as well as meet specialists, experts, decision makers, and visitors from all over the world.
