SunPower Announces Acquisition of Greenbotics, Inc.
Nov. 4, 2013 - SunPower Corp. today announced that it has acquired Greenbotics, Inc., a Davis, Calif.-based company. With this acquisition, SunPower expands its energy services portfolio for global customers with the SunPower Oasis Power Plant product, especially in markets with challenging dirt and dust environments. SunPower expects to utilize the robotic technology and the Greenbotics team in conjunction with other product development and large-scale solar field installation projects.

Martifer Solar and Hanwha Q Cells Korea Complete 17.8MW PV Project in Portugal
Oct. 31, 2013 - Martifer Solar, together with Hanwha Q CELLS Korea, completed a project for Korean investors, with combined capacity of 17.8MWp. The Korean investors include Hanwha Q CELLS Korea, which is also a consortium member, and the Financial Investment Trusts managed by Shinhan BNP Paribas Asset Management.

Canadian Solar Announces 100MW Module Supply Agreement with Three Gorges New Energy

Canadian Solar Receives CAD$104 Million Loan from Deutsche Bank
Oct. 30, 2013 - Canadian Solar today announced it has signed a financing agreement pursuant to which Deutsche Bank has agreed to provide CAD$104 million in non-recourse, short-term construction financing to Canadian Solar for the construction of solar power projects in Ontario, Canada. The loans are expected to be repaid with the proceeds of the sale of the respective financed projects.

Suntech Receives Investment Letter of Intent from Wuxi Guolian
Oct. 30, 2013 - Suntech today announced it has received an investment letter of intent from Wuxi Guolian Development (Group) Co., Ltd. ("Guolian") to make an equity investment into the Company of not less than US$150,000,000 in cash in connection with supporting a comprehensive rehabilitation and restructuring of the financial and operational affairs of the Company. In addition, it is intended that Guolian would, upon satisfactory terms and conditions, cause related solar and other businesses it owns to be injected into the Company and/or enter into joint venture or similar arrangements with the Company to take advantage of the Company's global platform, distribution networks, and other synergies.
