Solar Frontier Features Newest Panels at PV Japan
July 23, 2013 －Solar Frontier will feature its two newest products at PV Expo in Japan this week: Solacis neo is s light glass substrate thin-film CIS module; SF170-S is a thin-film CIS module with an output of 170W. Currently, these products will be offered primarily in Japan.

Meyer Burger Awarded Two Contracts with Customers in Asia and Europe
July 25, 2013 - Today Meyer Burger Technology announced the signing of a new contract as preferred supplier with Sunsolar Energy to deliver the very first automated, integrated module line in the United Kingdom for the production of solar modules for the UK market. The module line includes lamination, cell connection, handling, performance testing and fast-track certification technologies as well as customer training and support services. With a start-up annual production capacity of 35MW, the module line can be expanded up to a production capacity of 75MW with plans by the customer for further expansion in the coming years. The manufacturing equipment is scheduled to be delivered by the end of September 2013 and the customer plans to begin production in November 2013.

Sun Invention Enters Chinese PV Market
July 25, 2013 - Today Sun Invention announced its entry into the Chinese PV-market and will start with the production of Plug & Save as well as Plug & Power in Huangshi City. The potential is enormous, since the Chinese government plans to enlarge the PV-sector and wants to connect a total capacity of 35GW of PV-power to the grid by 2015.

Hanwha Q CELLS Delivers 60MW PV Modules into Three Solar Power Plants in Japan
July 25, 2013 – Hanwha Q CELLS expands its footprint in the Japanese PV market, delivering its solar modules to investor Sumitomo Corporation and NTT facilities. Hanwha Q CELLS will provide a total of 60MW – or more than 235,000 PV modules. The Q.PRO G3 modules with power classes of 245Wp, 255Wp and 260Wp will be installed in solar power parks in Kitakyushu, Tomakomai and Saizo. The modules will be delivered between July 2013 and June 2014.

SolarCity to Add 12.8MW PV Energy in Hawaii
July 24, 2013 - SolarCity said Wednesday that it plans to add 12.8 megawatts of solar photovoltaic energy to power up 7,500 military homes in Hawaii at Lend Lease-managed Island Palm Communities throughout Oahu.

Canadian Solar Completed 30MW Rooftop PV Installations in Suzhou, China
July 25, 2013 - Canadian Solar today announced the completion of a 30MW rooftop PV installation in China's City of Suzhou under the country's Golden Sun program. The project spanned 129 buildings, with a total surface area of approximately 500,000 square meters. The rooftops were mixed surfaces, with 200,000 square meters of steel structured rooftops and 300,000 square meters of concrete rooftops. Canadian Solar's CS6P-245P's modules were used.

First Solar to Build New Mexico 23MW Solar Projects for PNM
July 24, 2013 - First Solar announced today an agreement with Public Service Company of New Mexico to construct three solar power plants totaling 23 megawatts AC of generating capacity. Under the agreement, First Solar is expected to provide engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services, using its advanced thin-film photovoltaic modules.
